About Ozma: The Trans Witch of Oz #1

Princess Ozma of Oz is one of the strongest Trans allegory characters in fiction.

In the original L. Frank Baum Oz novels, Ozma is a long-lost Princess who is “magicked” into a boy as an infant by her mother figure: the Wicked Witch of the North, Mombi. After growing up as the wrong gender, Ozma is eventually restored to her true gender and takes her rightful place as the Princess of Oz.

Ozma: The Trans Witch of Oz #1 is both an adaptation of and sequel to Baum's The Marvelous Land of Oz and Ozma of Oz. In our version, we take the subtext out of Ozma's transness, making her a canonically Trans Femme witch who uses magic to perform HRT.

This Mature Action Fantasy sees a twenty-one-year-old Ozma navigate the tense political situation in Gillikin Country, all while growing closer to her Ex-Girlfriend and the leader of the Army of Revolt, General Jinjur!
